Shanghai University

Shanghai University, founded in 1922, is one of the most renowned universities in China. It is a comprehensive university with faculties in both science and humanities, boasting a large scale with approximately 3,000 faculty members and around 20,000 students, making it a mammoth institution.
The university is home to professors and associate professors with the highest level of knowledge in China, with a vast campus area. Additionally, its affiliated library is well-equipped with a large collection of books, providing excellent resources.
The acceptance of international students began in 1976. The Shanghai University International College was established as a specialized institution for the recruitment, education, and management of international students. It is responsible for guiding and managing scholarship students as well as self-funded international students.
